Christmas Day

This Christmas was soo much fun watching Daniel's face take in all the presents Santa brought him! He was amazed that Santa ate most of the cookies and drank all the milk that he left for him. Then he had a blast opening presents. After presents I made a big Christmas day brunch then we headed to Conroe to have our annual Christmas dinner at my Grandma's house. It was a great day but exhausting!!

Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we headed to my dad's house to open presents with that part of the family. We had a big cajun feast this year and it was delicious. We also made the big announcement that we'll be having a BOY in May. My brother and his wife also found out they're having a boy so they announced on that night too. It was a lot of fun--we each made a cake that had blue on the inside so when the grandmas cut into the cake, they knew it was a boy! My sister-in-law is MUCH more creative than me so her cake was just adorable, and mine was well, a bit embarassing next to it! :) It was a great night and we had a blast!

Christmas Cookies

Daniel was a big help in the kitchen making Christmas cookies on Christmas Eve for Santa. He helped me bake and helped Daddy decorate (and by decorate I mean eat)

Moody Gardens Christmas Party

This weekend we had our family Christmas party in Galveston. We went down early to hang out at Moody Gardens where we went through the Aquarium. Colton and Daniel (and Scott) had a blast!! There were a lot of sharks, and the penguin area was really neat! After the Aquarium we had our big family dinner at Fish Tails. Dinner ran long so we weren't able to make it back to Moody Gardens for the Festival of Lights, but it's OK since we already saw plenty of Christmas lights at Santa's Wonderland a few weeks ago.

Bowling

Colton's 6th birthday party was at the bowling alley this year and it was Daniel's first time bowling. He LOVED it!! At first he would go up and roll the ball and watch it hit all the pins, but by the end he would just go up, throw the ball and run back and try to get another one! I had to teach him that he had to wait for the same ball to come back. It took so long to roll down there I understand his impatience (see video :) )

Santa's Wonderland

We went to Santa's Wonderland (just outside of College Station) a few weekends ago. We took a hayride and looked at >1,000,000 Christmas lights and Daniel had a lot of fun. I sipped on some hot chocolate to stay warm (although it wasn't too cold yet thankfully). After they hayride we hung out by the fire and listened to some fun Christmas music. We saw Santa was there, but we just waved at him through the window because the line was super long and Daniel already saw Santa and told him what he wanted.
