Sleep eating

Daniel was eating lunch the other day and I looked over and poor baby was so exhausted because it was near naptime that he was eating with his eyes closed half sleeping. Even though he was so tired though, he wouldn't give up that food!!

Play Dates

Haley came over last weekend before she left for Christmas break and her and Daniel had a great time playing. They even went to feed the ducks--both of them had a great time! This past Saturday we went to dinner with the Elledges and then had ice cream afterwards. Daniel and Parker had a blast running around the restaurant, edit-Daniel had fun chasing Parker around trying to hug him!! While we went to eat ice cream Parker finally caved and let Daniel give him a hug--it was too cute. They had a blast, but they started acting pretty silly because it was getting close to bedtime. Daniel has such great friends!!

Santa Visit

My brother dressed up as Santa for his work so I brought Daniel by to see him. He did well--I think he recognized Jacob's voice. He just kept staring at the Santa...I think he was trying to figure out how he knew this guy!!

Potty training?...

Well, as a lot of you have had first hand experience with, Daniel is a bathtub pooper. Last night I was giving him a bath and saw he was "pushing" a little bit (yall know his face!), so I grabbed him out of the tub and threw him on the toilet. Nothing happened after a minute, so I put him back into the tub. He started grunting again, so I put him BACK on the toilet and this time he went!!! I was so happy we avoided another bathtub incident! He finished up, I cleaned him up, and then we got back to bath time...
Well, I guess he wasn't "done" because I looked down and before he could even finish grunting, we had ourselves another bathtub incident. Poor Mommy was SO excited to not have to clean out a poopy tub...what a tease!

Another early gift...

So I REALLY hope Daniel doesn't understand the concept of Santa yet because he got another early Christmas gift! Scott's parents brought down their gift for Daniel during Thanksgiving weekend so he could start enjoying it early. It's definitely cute and Daniel is such a little man in it...



Maybe he doesn't undersand how it quite works yet!
