Logan's had a busy month! He's in daycare everyday now and is doing great there! His teachers are impressed with how much he "talks"! He has rolled over from his tummy to his back, and tries to roll back to tummy but can't quite swing those thighs over! We got his exersaucer out last week and he likes to have something else to play in. Daniel likes playing in it as much as Logan does!! Daniel gets in it and has to sit on his knees b/c he's so big. When it's Logan's turn to play Daniel stays on the outside of it and helps him play with the toys. Other than that Logan is a great baby and is always smiling at us!

Maine
Scott and I left the boys for a weekend to go to our college friend Emily's wedding, which was in Maine. I was VERY apprehensive to leave the boys, especially Logan since this would be the first time to leave him. Once we were there, I still missed them but we still had a great time. The weather was an amazing 65-70 degrees, which was a relief after spending the summer in Houston weather of >100 degrees.
We flew in Friday, and that evening we had the rehearsal dinner, which included a lobster bake, where they cooked the live lobsters right in front of us on an open fire. It was our first time to eat a whole lobster where you have to crack it, and I sure made a mess!! Later that night because it got so cool we hung around a campfire and had roasted marshmallows.
Saturday, all the girls in the wedding spent the morning getting pampered and having our hair and make-up done. Scott got to go explore some of the little towns around our Inn. He went to a place called the Lobster Dock and had famous lobster rolls!! I think Scott probably had 4 or 5 lobsters the whole weekend!
The wedding was beautiful and the bride looked amazing! The reception was gorgeous--her mom did a fantastic job decorating the tables. Emily and her new husband Jeff are self-proclaimed nerds and love to read, so there was a book theme to the decorations. They had a really cool old-school card catilogue set up at the tent entrance which is where you looked to see your table assignment. The tables had old classic books on them and also there were several framed pictures on each table of the bride and groom throughout their lives. We all had a fantastic time at the reception and it was a lot of fun catching up with college friends. Early Sunday morning it was time to hit the road for a long day of flying to get back to my boys!!

Logan-3 months
Wow--already 3 months!! Logan has become a great and easy going baby! He has been sleeping through the night for about 3-4 weeks, and is even in his own room. I was a bit sad taking down the pack n play in our room, though, because I realized how fast he's growing :(
We've had a tough time getting him to take a bottle, but I think he'll really get the hang of it once he starts school next week and has to do it more. He started laughing last week, which I love, and he is ALWAYS smiling! He "tries" to roll over from his back to his tummy, but I think his thighs will keep him from actually rolling all the way for a while :). He's still not a huge fan of tummy time, but putting him on a boppy makes it a bit more bearable.
Here's some pictures from the last week or two:

Play dates
Well, I've been very lucky to get 3 1/2 months off, but my maternity leave is ending next week. While I was off this summer, Daniel went to school part tiime and stayed home with me the rest of the time. I had to find some fun things for him to do so we wouldn't go stir crazy, but it's so hot we couldn't do much outside, plus Logan is so young the pool wasn't a great option this year. So we've spent lots of time at the book store, at Chick fil A, at Jump n Jungle, and we recently went to the Children's Museum and an indoor playground with Parker. Logan is a trooper when we go on our outings, and Daniel always naps really well when we get home!!
Daniel's Birthday
I can't believe it's already been 3 years!!! This year we decided the kiddos have a bit too much energy to host a party at the house, so we decided to have the party at Jump N Jungle--it's a bouncy house here in Pearland that Daniel loves going to. He had a blast and is so glad so many of his friends could make it, even if it was in the middle of naptime :) Here's a few pictures:
