Happy Halloween
Daniel had a great time trick or treating this year!! He went around our small neighborhood block once and had so much fun he wanted to keep going, so Scott took him out for more on another neighborhood block. He had to come straight home and check out his loot!! He picked out his costume all by himself this year--I think he chose Darth Vader so he could play with his light saber. I had a Nemo costume for Logan that an OR nurse gave to me as a hand me down, but he really didn't want anything to do with it in the stroller while trick or treating, so we just got a few pictures of him in it and let him stay in his Halloween outfit and Pumpkin hat. When Daniel went out for more trick or treating Logan stayed home with me and helped me hand out candy. He wasn't much help, though-he is a super curious baby and was constantly grabbing the candy and tried putting it in his mouth several times! I cant' wait until next year when they're both running around!!

Ring Bearer
Daniel was a ring bearer in my step sister Tamara's wedding last weekend. I was so nervous about how he would do while walking down the aisle with 100+ people looking at him, but he did great!! He got to share the ring bearer duties with the groom's cousin as well which really helped!

Fall fun
This weekend we got our first pumpkin of the season--I'm sure the first of several since we are scheduled to go to a pumpkin patch soon. Daniel had a lot of fun painting it this year. Usually he just watches as Mommy and Daddy carve it, but this year he got to have all the fun!! We were just going to paint a silly face, but by the time we were done every square inch of that pumpkin was painted!
Silly big brother
Poor Logan--now that he is a bit more interactive Daniel is really having fun including him while he "plays". I'm constantly having to watch him to make sure he doesn't get too rough, and when I correct him he says "Don't worry, he likes it!". Here's an example:
Yes...those are stickers all over Logan's face. Haha, Logan really didn't seem to mind, so why not, right?!

September
This has been a busy month. As the previous post says, we took a day trip down to the beach one weekend. The next weekend, we had Haley's 3rd birthday party which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I didn't get too many pictures from that. After the party, the Keys came back to our house for the night and Daniel had his first sleepover--we pulled out his trundle bed and him and Marshall slept in his room. Well, it took them a while to finally fall asleep, and many threats of being separated if they didn't stop playing/talking!! The next morning, after some donuts the boys rode their bikes together around the block a few times. Later, we went to the Downtown Aquarium and the boys had a fun time riding the train, seeing sharks and fish, riding a carousel, and jumping in a bouncy house. Daniel and Marshall have so much fun together everytime they see each other!!
Logan has had quite a few milestones this month, too. He turned 5 months last week, and he now has 2 teeth (both on the bottom), he can sit on his own now, and he "can" roll both ways, although he usually will roll from his back to his tummy and get stuck and scream until I roll him back to his back. I don't know if he forgot how to roll from tummy to back or what! I attempted rice cereal a few weeks ago, but he didn't seem to be a big fan, so I waited until the other day. The second attempt went much better and now when I feed him I can't shovel it in fast enough!! He cries if I take too long to get it in his mouth!! It is so fun watching him progress, but it's also sad how fast he is growing up!!
Here's a few pictures for the month:
