Trouble...

Well, Logan is discovering Daniel's toys and I can tell this won't be pretty. Logan isn't mobile yet, but he did discover where we keep some of Daniel's toys and now that's all he wants to play with!! Daniel is NOT a happy camper, but I told him he better get used to it!!

Brothers

Daniel tells Logan everyday how much he loves him. When Logan cries Daniel says in the cutest high-pitched voice "It's OK...big brother is here". Melts my heart!! They are starting to have a lot of fun together. Daniel is still a big rough with Logan, but Logan rarely seems to mind and will crack up at anything Daniel does. One morning I woke up to find Daniel in Logan's crib. After I had a minor heart attack thinking what could've gone wrong with it, I had to snap a few pictures b/c it was just too adorable. The other night I also let them take a bath together (Scott and I usually divide and conquer to make bathtime much faster), and they had a great time. Logan was just cracking up at anything Daniel did. I can't wait to watch them continue to grow up together!!

Play Date with Truitt and Parker!

Last weekend we met the Elledges at Discovery Green Park in Downtown Houston. The weather was great and the boys had so much fun! We started out on the big playground where Daniel and Parker played policeman where they took turns taking the bad guy to "jail" (the monkey bars). After the playground Mr. John had them run from one end of the field to the other several times to "race"...READ-wear them out!! There was also a mini-golf course set up that the boys got to play. This was Daniel's first time playing and he had a great time. We still have some practicing to do!! After that we had a nice picnic lunch and then headed home where Daniel took a 3 hour nap!! :) Oh, and Logan and Truitt had a great time too playing on the ground with some leaves and hanging out watching their brothers in their strollers.

Happy Halloween

Daniel had a great time trick or treating this year!! He went around our small neighborhood block once and had so much fun he wanted to keep going, so Scott took him out for more on another neighborhood block. He had to come straight home and check out his loot!! He picked out his costume all by himself this year--I think he chose Darth Vader so he could play with his light saber. I had a Nemo costume for Logan that an OR nurse gave to me as a hand me down, but he really didn't want anything to do with it in the stroller while trick or treating, so we just got a few pictures of him in it and let him stay in his Halloween outfit and Pumpkin hat. When Daniel went out for more trick or treating Logan stayed home with me and helped me hand out candy. He wasn't much help, though-he is a super curious baby and was constantly grabbing the candy and tried putting it in his mouth several times! I cant' wait until next year when they're both running around!!

Ring Bearer

Daniel was a ring bearer in my step sister Tamara's wedding last weekend. I was so nervous about how he would do while walking down the aisle with 100+ people looking at him, but he did great!! He got to share the ring bearer duties with the groom's cousin as well which really helped! Daniel getting down at the reception:

Fall fun

This weekend we got our first pumpkin of the season--I'm sure the first of several since we are scheduled to go to a pumpkin patch soon. Daniel had a lot of fun painting it this year. Usually he just watches as Mommy and Daddy carve it, but this year he got to have all the fun!! We were just going to paint a silly face, but by the time we were done every square inch of that pumpkin was painted!
