Logan turns 1!!!
My baby is one!! Wow--what a year! We decided to have Logan's 1st birthday party at the house like we did for Daniel's first birthday. Although when I started thinking back to Daniel's 1st birthday party, everyone we knew with kids had one year olds, so it was easy to plan! Now, our friends also have one year olds, but there's a whole bunch of 3 and 4 year olds, and some older neighbor kids, and more cousins to think about!! So this party started to get a bit stressful when I thought about how to keep all these kiddos entertained. I ended up renting a big bouncy house with a slide, which seemed to entertain the toddlers and big kids well enough. Logan had his 1 year shots 2 days before the party, so he wasn't feeling 100%. Once the party got underway, though, he started to loosen up a bit. By the time it was cake time, he did great!! He followed in his big brother's foot steps and smashed the cake to bits. I was smart this time though and did it outside to reduce the clean-up! Then it was time for presents. My friend Becky got him a Cozy Coupe which was the hit of the party for all the kids!! It was so much fun and we hope everyone who made it had a great time too!!
Oh, and Logan will always be my "little" baby :)

Easter-family
Every year we go to my dad's house for a big Easter Sunday feast and an egg hunt. It was so much fun with all the kiddos this year. We set up a "big kid" egg hunt area for Colton and Daniel, and then we had a smaller area for an egg hunt for Hunter, Logan, Caitlyn, and a neighbor's kid that is Caitlyn's age. Everyone had a great time and I can't wait to watch our Easters evolve as the kiddos grow!
Easter-school
Sorry it's been a while since I last posted. Things have been hectic with the move and life in general. We are slowly getting settled in to the new house, so pictures will be up with soon!
For now, here's some pictures of what we've been up to since our last post!
This year for Easter Daniel's school parade landed on the day we were moving, so I took some time out and left Scott with the movers to watch Daniel's parade and see him hunt eggs. When the parade first started, I couldn't find Daniel! He was the last one out of the door because he had to walk with his crush--his teacher Ms. Andrea. I hear about Ms. Andrea everyday--when he picks out his shirt in the mornings, he picks one out Ms. Andrea will love. So of course he walks out hand in hand with her. I never thought I'd lose my little boy to another woman so soon ;)

Spring time again!
Love that the weather is finally getting nice enough to play outside, which we've been trying to do as much as we can in between packing and getting ready for the move. While Scott was doing the yard the other day, I took the boys to the park and was able to get some cute shots of Logan. He is liking the park much more these days now that he can walk around and explore rather than just sitting in the stroller watching his big brother!
PA gathering
The Elledges have settled in to their beautiful new home and were kind enough to have us all over to celebrate Truitt's, Harper's, and Braden's first birthdays. The big kids had fun racing Monster trucks throughout the house, playing in the playroom, eating pizza, and of course eating cupcakes. The babies were content following their big siblings around. I can't imagine as all these kids get bigger and bigger our get togethers are going to get so crazy. I am thinking about making our new gameroom soundproof with padded walls! :)

Crawfish boil/fish fry
We got together at Courtney's house one beautiful Sunday for a crawfish boil and fish fry. The kids were all in awe with the crawfish--Caitlyn had to go keep looking at the "bugs". Scott and Daniel had fun riding Colton's motorized scooter. Can't wait for more of these spring days!!
