Colton's birthday celebration

We went out as a family to a little pizza place by my parents' house for Colton's 7th birthday (can you believe it's been 7 years?!). There was a guy playing music so after dinner Daniel and Caitlyn decided to dance for us. It was too cute :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas is getting to be so much more fun every year as Daniel gets older. He loved helping to decorate the tree and he did a great job!! He put all the ornaments at his eye level, so the middle part of our tree is beautifully decorated :) It makes me laugh everytime I see it so I have kept it like that. We had our annual family Christmas party last night and got a picture of all the great grandbabies with my grandparents. Unfortunately we didn't do this until the end of the night, so getting everyone to cooperate was a bit impossible!! This morning we went to go see Santa and Daniel told him what he wants and that he has been a good boy this year (that part is debatable ;) ). He did a great job writing his letter to Santa almost all by himself! I can't wait until next year when Logan can participate a bit more!

Festival of lights

We went down to Moody Gardens to see the Christmas lights. Parker and Daniel had so much fun and Truitt and Logan were content to stay bundled in their strollers. It was REALLY crowded, so if we go back next yearwe think we'll go earlier in the season.

Such a big boy...

Logan is trying to become mobile these days. He can army crawl a bit, but prefers to roll. He has also started using anything he can to pull himself up to stand. He used Daniel one day but Daniel got frustrated and said "I'm not a ladder!".

Twins?

...Not to me but everyone who sees the boys together says they look JUST alike--twins separated by 3 years. What do you think?

Trouble...

Well, Logan is discovering Daniel's toys and I can tell this won't be pretty. Logan isn't mobile yet, but he did discover where we keep some of Daniel's toys and now that's all he wants to play with!! Daniel is NOT a happy camper, but I told him he better get used to it!!

Brothers

Daniel tells Logan everyday how much he loves him. When Logan cries Daniel says in the cutest high-pitched voice "It's OK...big brother is here". Melts my heart!! They are starting to have a lot of fun together. Daniel is still a big rough with Logan, but Logan rarely seems to mind and will crack up at anything Daniel does. One morning I woke up to find Daniel in Logan's crib. After I had a minor heart attack thinking what could've gone wrong with it, I had to snap a few pictures b/c it was just too adorable. The other night I also let them take a bath together (Scott and I usually divide and conquer to make bathtime much faster), and they had a great time. Logan was just cracking up at anything Daniel did. I can't wait to watch them continue to grow up together!!
